FAQ
Do you photograph weddings?
Unfortunately I do not have the experience at this time to claim to be a proficient wedding photographer. I could perform the duties of one and have the understanding of the approach but I have yet to actually apply the knowledge. If you REALLY want me to photograph your wedding my sitting fee is going to start at $1500
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm in Tucson, Arizona and yes I am open to travel. However travel costs will be up to you, the client, to take care of. I will do my best to figure out the most affordable way to travel but please understand that if I am traveling someplace I do expect to stay in a reputable hotel and have access to a vehicle since I have equipment to move around with.
When will we get our photos?
I tell people that it can take up to a month to month and a half for me to complete the edits on their photos. I will be honest and say that there are times I will complete them before then. But that is based off how busy I am as well as what is going on in life in general. I will always do my best to ensure you get access to your images in a timely manner.
How many pictures will we receive?
That depends on the sitting and how things flow. It could be as little as fifty photos or it could be two hundred photos. But the idea is to go through everything and pick out the best of the best. So regardless of how many photos I might end up shooting when all is said and done you should have at least twenty to thirty "wowfactor" photos.
Can I have the unedited photos?
I will make this as short and clear as possible: No
The unedited or raw photos are what I use to create my edits and regardless of who I am photographing I own the copyright to those images/files. If you really really want them we can discuss an obnoxious price to purchase them.
How does all this work?
The way this works is like this:
1. We talk initially via email, text or phone to figure out what you are looking for.
2. We meet and sign a contract for the product that you have decided that you want.
3. We meet on a approved date and time to take the actual photos.
4. I do my culling and edits of the images.
5. I sent you a link to a password protected client area that allows you to view, favorite images and comment on images so you can let me know what you like, don't like or what changes you want made.
6. Using that input I go back and adjust the photos and let you know when the photos are ready for review again. You do the same thing again. We do this until all you have are favorites.
7. Once the images hit the "finalized" stage I change the settings to your client gallery and allow you to download your high quality imaged and order whatever prints you want from one of my trusted photo labs.
